Professor Stafford is a graduate of the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University (B.S.F.S., 1990) and the Johns Hopkins University (M.A., 1994 and Ph.D., 1998).  She joined the faculty at William and Mary in the Fall of 1998.  Her teaching interests include microeconomics, industrial organization, law and economics, and environmental economics and policy.  Her research interests include regulatory compliance and enforcement and experimental economics.
